Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2025

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners about how users interact with their sites.

2. How We Use Cookies

Contenify AI uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) to:

  • Keep you signed in across sessions.
  • Remember your language preference (English or Hindi).
  • Maintain your dashboard state and preferences.
  • Understand how users navigate and use the platform.
  • Improve performance and identify technical issues.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They manage authentication sessions and security tokens. You cannot opt out of these cookies as the Service cannot function without them.

Examples: auth_token, session_id

Preference Cookies

These cookies remember your settings and preferences so you do not have to re-enter them each visit. For example, your selected language (English/Hindi) is stored in localStorage under the key cnfy_language.

Examples: cnfy_language

Analytics Cookies

We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the platform, which features are most used, and where users encounter difficulties. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

Examples: _ga, _gid (Google Analytics, if enabled)

Third-Party Cookies

Some features of our platform use third-party services that may set their own cookies:

  • Razorpay — payment processing (sets cookies for fraud detection and session management).
  • Google OAuth — authentication (sets cookies to maintain your Google sign-in state).

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies which we encourage you to review.

4. Managing Cookies

You have several options to manage or disable cookies:

  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings menu. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
  • Browser extensions: Tools like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger can block certain analytics and third-party cookies.
  • Platform settings: Language and notification preferences can be changed directly in your Contenify AI account settings.

Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the core features of the platform, but may limit personalization and analytics functionality.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser localStorage to store preferences such as your language setting. Unlike cookies, localStorage data is not sent to our servers automatically — it remains in your browser. You can clear localStorage via your browser's developer tools or privacy settings.

6. Cookie Retention

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
